
Higher education experts, officials and presidents of universities have affirmed the solid foundations of the Kingdom of Bahrain's educational system.
The educational system in Bahrain boasts sufficient infrastructure and safety valve governmental monitoring represented in the Higher Education Council (HEC) and the National Authority for Quality Assurance for Education and Training (QAAET) in order to contribute into future national development and growth.
QAAET's CEO Dr. Jawaher Al-Modhahki outlined the plans, programmes, methodology to attain planned goals, and the strategic vision in line of Bahrain Economic Vision2030 under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
They said that the Bahrain's universities are considered as topnotch world-class educational institutions in terms of infrastructure, qualification, expert teaching staffs and quality of programmes offered. They pointed out that the prime mission of a university first and foremost is educational orientation followed by responding to the requirements of the labour market. They affirmed that the Government Action Plan recommended bridging the gap between higher education sector and labour market requirements, stressing that highly-qualified, well-trained and skilled Bahraini graduates should always remain the prime choice of employers,
They discussed the relevant themes related to the development of education and the choice of private school students to study in Bahraini universities, stressing the need for an integrated multilateral process to develop higher educational and activate the role of advisory committees in universities to revise academic programmes and assess graduates.
