The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s SMEs Development & Support Centre has concluded its induction tour for its latest programme (Startup Boot Camp) due to start in December 2014.
Representatives from the centre visited a number of universities in Bahrain, with the aim of inducting senior students as well as alumni of various IT majors about the programme, which takes them in a step-by-step journey from identifying their ideas to implementing their business projects.
The tour had Bahrain Polytechnic as its first destination, followed by AMA International University, followed by University of Bahrain, and concluding at the Royal University for Women.
In this regard, CEO of Bahrain Chamber Eng. Nabeel Al Mahmood said "Startup Boot Camp is a unique program that does not only provide participants with knowledge and aid them with skills, but also ensures that towards the end of the two months, they have their projects operating in the market".
