
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Moayyad, today praised the economic and strategic dimensions that King Hamad Causeway will achieve, which will be constructed parallel to the King Fahd Causeway.
Al-Moayyad, in a statement, expressed optimism about the strategic and vital project, and its contribution to the revival of commercial, industrial and investment sectors, in addition to reinforcing the GCC integration and Bahrain's standing as a regional hub for services.
He paid tribute to the initiative of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud that brings this key project to reality, which will serve passengers and cargo.
He said that King Hamad Causeway will link Bahrain with Gulf states, especially in the framework of the GCC railway project, it will also ease traffic congestion witnessed by the King Fahd Causeway for the benefit of the Bahraini private sector.
