The Promotion, Exhibition and Conference sector committee convened its second meeting in Bait Al-Tijjar in Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).
The committee chairperson and board member Ahlam Janahi confirmed that this year’s action plan will be submitted to the CEO soon.
The meeting highlighted the vital role of both the public and private sectors in promoting and marketing the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing the importance of intensifying their presence in local, regional and global economic events. A proposal for a brochure that enlists the names of all major companies in the Kingdom was discussed, and the role it could play in facilitating traders and businessmen’s involvement.
The committee announced its plan to conduct field visits with the objective of encouraging further collaboration with key official bodies in the country in the process of enhancing the private sector locally, and the country’s economy as a whole.
The committee will seize this opportunity to discuss its strategic plan for the upcoming period.
