Board of Directors of the GCC Patent Office holds meeting

The 22nd meeting of the Board of Directors of the GCC Patent Office kicked off at the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh on Tuesday.  The two-day meeting will discuss a number of issues listed on its agenda including the reports, memos and working papers submitted by the Patent Office, as well as the director general's report that demonstrates the activities of the Office and the official statistics during the last period, the draft amendment of the patent system, and the strategic plan.  The meeting will also review the cooperation with the international organizations and bodies such as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the World Trade Organization (WTO), and other patent offices.
