The Bahrain Noor El Ain Festival has joined the popular local Farmers' Market in Budaiya in preparation for the Festival’s Garden Bazaar launching on Saturday January 17 and lasting one week.
The frequently visited Budaiya Market features local farmer grown products on sale to the event’s thousands of visitors as well as food stations, botanical areas and petting zoos for children.
Bahrain Noor El Ain prepared for its upcoming collaboration with the Farmers' Market by bringing local celebrity chefs on a market walkabout as they were interviewed on their favourite culinary ingredients sold at the vendor stalls. Chefs included Chef Abbas Mahdi from the Ritz Carlton, Bushido’s Chef Noor Murad and Chef Mark Dickey from the Organic Cafe.
The chefs will be featured in next week’s Garden Bazaar as they participate in an exciting Live Cooking demonstration for bazaar goers alongside Master Chef Bahrain Winner Kevin Denecke from Cucina Italiana.
Festival volunteers also handed out coupons for next week’s Garden Bazaar that will entitle them to buy farmers products.
