Butane gas shipment arrives at Alexandria port

A vessel coming from Algeria carrying a cargo of butane gas, weighing 9000 tons, arrived on Sunday at Alexandria Port.
The shipment was unloaded after finalizing all customs procedures to examine it and make sure it complies with specifications in preparation for packaging, said Spokesman for the Alexandria Port Authority Reda el Ghandour.
The loading and unloading of vessels hoisting flags of different countries sailed into the port is proceeding as normal, added the spokesman.
Ghandour asserted that the performance level has improved in the port's different departments.
