
The Cabinet has authorized the Arab Contractors company and the Egyptian Contracting Company (Mokhtar Ibrahim) to establish the infrastructure works of the urgent stage "part of the first phase", in the new El Alamein city on an area of 2,000 feddans, Housing Minister Mustafa Madbouly said Friday.
A general strategic plan was developed for the first phase of the city on 8,000 feddans, Assistant Housing Minister for Technical Affairs Khalid Abbas said.
He added that the initial vision of the urgent stage was also prepared.
Vice president of the new urban communities authority Kamal Fahmi said that the two companies would establish the Infrastructure in the currents stage, while the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces would carry out road works in some areas of the stage.
