Cairo governorate starts refining edges of Mokattam Mountain

Cairo Governor Galal Moustafa Saeid has assigned a scientific committee to immediately start refining the edges of the Mokattam Mountain.
The process aims to support, fix and remove stones that may fall during rains. This comes as part of efforts to protect citizens' lives and to prevent any potential catastrophes.
The Mokattam road was closed Friday morning and will continue to be closed until Saturday evening due to the renovation work. Detours have been made to avoid any traffic jams until the finalization of the renovation work.
