
An economic expert, Raad Twaij called to transform Iraqi trade relations with the countries from business relations to partner in the production.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that "Iraq is linked in trade relations with many countries of the world, but only trading partner."
He suggested to transfer Iraq relations from partnership to partnership in commercial production with economic blocs and different countries by attracting foreign investors and improve the investment sector . "
He added, "The backbone of the economy is the production of real goods or converting natural wealth into manufactured goods, which gives the economic power for any country," stressing that Iraq is rich in natural resources, but poor in production, which is substantial, we should pay attention to it ".
