
A National Conference for Empowering Competences (NCEC) will be held ON October 14-15, to focus on imbalances in labor market and poor educational outcomes, chairman of the NCEC's higher committee Dr. Haider Behbehani said Saturday.
The two-day conference will see the participation of many experts in the fields of planning and development who will try to come up with solutions to raise the qualifications of national manpower.
The conference will be held under the patronage of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, as directed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah who always strives to promote the importance of planning and development in building and securing future generations.
The general coordinator of the conference, who is also the National Assembly Secretary, MP Yaqoub Al-Sani'a will hold a press conference tomorrow, Sunday, at the Regency Hotel to highlight the importance of the event.
Dr. Behbehani and head of the technical committee Dr. Halah Al-Humaidi will be part of the press conference.
