
Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity and Water Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim has inked a KD-7.2-million contract to complete the renewal of the sewage networks in Riqqa and Hadiya districts in Al-Ahmadi Governorate.
The contract aims to install new networks in the two areas with a total length of 74km, said a statement by the ministry, noting that the contract also covered many infrastructural services such as street lighting and phone networks in the two areas.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works Awatef Al-Ghoneim signed a deal for supervision over the renewal of sewage in these two areas, it said.
