A partnership agreement was signed Monday between the National Union of Algerian Traders and Artisans (UGCAA) and the Algerian Red Crescent (CRA) as part of the national solidarity programme with the Palestinian people.
This agreement defines the conditions and terms of contribution and intervention of the UGCAA as a partner of the CRA in the national solidarity policy through the promotion of various humanitarian actions in favour of the Palestinian people who are facing Israeli barbaric aggression.
According to the UGCAA Secretary General and its spokesman, Saleh Souilah, the agreement provides for the distribution of leaflets with CRA’s current account to Algerian traders and artisans throughout the country so they can help their Palestinian brothers.
This initiative will allow the organization of the solidarity of Algerian traders and artisans wishing to help the people of Gaza in an “official” manner in coordination with the CRA, he stressed.
The same official announced the official setting-up of a national solidarity committee with Gaza made up of businessmen and wholesalers, notably of food products.
This committee will be in charge of collecting food products from wholesalers nationwide in coordination with the CRA in view to send them to Gaza as part of the national solidarity policy with the Palestinian people.
