Damietta Port received over the past 24 hours two container ships and six cargo vessels, Damietta Port Authority Media Center said in a statement on Thursday.
The statement noted that six other ships left the port, including two container ships and four cargo vessels.
Meanwhile, 26 ships anchored outside the port until finalizing their entry procedures.
The grain and cereal silo is currently holding 65,000 tons of wheat, the statement said.
