Darwish appointed chairman of Suez Canal's economic zone

Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday issued a presidential decree appointing Dr Ahmed Darwish as chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal's Economic Zone (SCZone) for three years, Presidency Spokesman Ihab Badawi said.
The SCZone will transform the area into a world-class global logistics hub and industrial processing center that serves both the European and Asian, including Gulf, markets to facilitate economic growth and create sustainable and high quality jobs for the Egyptian people.
