Developing Lattakia Port is priority

Developing and improving Lattakia port is one of the priorities of the Transport Ministry, Minister of Transport, Mahmoud Said, said on Saturday. Opening activities of the developmental visions workshops on transport, industry and housing sectors, the Minister pointed out that developing Lattakia port will have major economic effects through increasing the volume of goods exchange at the port, in addition to providing job opportunities. He asserted the strategic importance of increasing the capacity of the port in facilitating the goods movement.
