
Ismailia governor Yassin Taher received on Monday Minister of Local Development Adel Labib, Minister of Irrigation Hossam Moghazy and Minister of Agriculture Salah Helal.
The meeting focused on the development projects in parts of Sinai and the project of cultivating one million feddans in various governorates in line with directives by the president.
The minister of irrigation said the project of establishing siphons under the Suez Canal would provide irrigation water for agriculture projects in Sinai.
For his part, the governor said the governorate managed to finish the establishment of 530 houses for the farmers in the village of Amal in the governorate within the framework of development plans.
