
BCCI Chairman Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Moayyed has welcomed the Kingdom's hosting of the Gulf Economic Integration Forum themed "Challenges and Solutions".
HM the King's Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs cum Board of Trustees' Chairman at the Bahrain Centre of Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT), Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Ghaffar, Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Abdullah Fakhroo, the Saudi Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq bin Fozan Al-Rabia and several GCC senior officials also participated at the forum.
Dr. Abdul-Ghaffar stressed the importance of the forum in marketing and promoting the investment environment in the GCC countries, the discussion of challenges facing GCC economies and exploration of effective solutions to surmount these challenges in addition to boosting the competitiveness of the GCC economic business environment.
Al-Moayyed pointed out that the forum which kicks-off on Monday in Manama is a good opportunity to attract more investments and to introduce the business sectors and potential investment climate in the GCC countries.
The forum will also discuss the challenges facing the various sectors and economic topics including the industrial sector, trade exchange, oil, energy, unemployment etc. and also to shed on the sureties, facilitations, regulations and laws attractive to overseas investors from all over the world.
