
The Egyptian Financial Group (EFG) Hermes, in cooperation with the Kuwaiti initiative to support the Egyptian people affiliated to the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, signed Thursday an memo of understanding to finance a development project in el-Makhzan village in Qena, Upper Egypt.
The MoU aims at solving problems related to the infrastructure, poverty, education, food security, unemployment and sanitation in the village.
EFG-Hermes Chairwoman Mona Zulficar underlined that the institution is keen on achieving sustainable development in Egypt with its three aspects represented in the economic growth, social development and environmental protection.
