Egypt is considered one of the best countries for Saudis to put their money into, said Abdullah bin Mahfouz of the Saudi-Egyptian Business Council on Saturday.
In an interview with Saudi Okaz newspaper, bin Mahfouz praised efforts exerted by the current Egyptian government to activate the electronic government.
He touched upon a recent meeting between Saudi investors and the chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), which tackled steps to facilitate obstacles facing Saudi investors in Egypt.
The chairman of GAFI had offered 90 investment opportunities in Egypt in the fields of renewable energy, agriculture and real estate, bin Mahfouz said.
