Egypt and Cyprus hold talks on joint cooperation

Minister of Petroleum Sherif Ismail and Cypriot Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Georgios Lakkotrypis on Tuesday held that discovering new reserve hydrocarbons in eastern Mediterranean should be an incentive at the regional level for more cooperation.
According to a joint statement issued by the Cypriot embassy in Cairo, the two ministers, who met in Nicosia, added that this cooperation should contribute to establishing peace and stability in the region.
The two ministers expressed satisfaction over the level of cooperation between the two countries, added the statement.
