
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and King Salman bin Abdel Aziz witnessed on Friday the signing of three agreements and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of electricity and renewable energy.
Egypt's Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker and his Saudi counterpart Abdullah alHusen inked a MoU in their domain.
International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr of Egypt and Ibrahim al-Assaf, the head of the Saudi Fund for Development, signed an agreement to finance the establishment of a power plant in Cairo with a cost of $100 million.
Another agreement to cooperation in the field of peaceful use of nuclear power was also inked.
