
Minister of Industry and Trade Munir Fakhri Abdel Nour announced that a joint Egyptian-Belarusian committee has been formed to conduct economic studies on chances of establishing joint investments on manufacturing agricultural tractors.
A statement released by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Small and Medium-Scale Projects said the industrial policy which is currently adopted by Egypt aims at maximizing Egypt's value-added products through enlarging local manufacturing of equipment and machinery.
The remarks were made by the minister during his meeting late Wednesday with Belarusia's First Deputy Premier Vladimir Semashko.
Abdel Nour, accompanied by a delegation of businessmen, is currently on a visit to Belarusia for talks on economic cooperation
