Egypt's Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Hani Salah received Saturday the country's president of trade and industry chamber and discussed ways of boosting bilateral ties.
The president of the trade and industry chamber expressed his desire to enhance cooperation in economic, investment, and trade fields between the two countries.
He pointed out that he carefully followed up news about an economic conference, due to be held in Sharm el Sheikh in March, and showed interest in taking part in this international event and holding meetings with Egyptian businessmen and representatives of the private sector.
The Congolese official also said that his chamber will be holding a business forum in Kinshasa on June 25-27, to show investment potentials in the DRC, hoping Egypt would participate in that gathering as a guest of honor.
