The trade between Dubai and Egypt recorded a significant growth of 36% during the first quarter of 2012, reaching AED 2.2 Billion compared to AED 1.6 Billion in the first quarter of 2011. According to the latest statistics released by Dubai Customs, the value of Dubai's total imports from Egypt during the first quarter reached AED 540 Million, compared to AED 484 Million during the same period in 2011. Emirate's exports to Egypt reached AED 512 Million compared to AED 308 Million in the first quarter of 2011, Emirate's News Agency (WAM) reported. Meanwhile, Dubai's Exports to Egypt reached AED 512 Million compared to AED 308 Million in the first quarter this year. The mutual investments in both countries are seeing strong growth, with the total UAE investments in Egypt reaching AED 18.4 Billion (EGP 30 Billion).
