Egypt's embassy in Riyadh has called on Egyptians in Saudi Arabia to invest in the New Suez Canal development project.
In a statement Tuesday, the embassy asserted the investment vehicles provided by the government for individuals and institutions were attractive for investments.
The five-year investment vehicles for the New Suez Canal will be up for grabs by individuals and institutions in the categories of EGP 10, 100, 1000 without a maximum limit for Egyptians only, the embassy elaborated.
The investment certificates, to be offered by Misr Banque, Banque Du Caire and the National Bank of Egypt which will cover the biggest part of finances needed to implement the project are available in all branches.
The government considers making available dollar-certificates for Egyptians abroad, the embassy said.
