
Assistant Foreign Minister for Neighboring Countries' Affairs Ossama el Magdoub handed on Monday to Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Karti the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to take part in the economic conference to be held in Sharm el Sheikh in March.
The invitation will be handed to Sudanese President Omar al Bashir.
El Magdoub told MENA correspondent in Khartoum that he discussed with Karti preparations for the meetings of the higher committee between the two countries that will be held at the presidential level for the first time.
The get-together took up also means of promoting joint relations and obstacles facing the march of development.
The two sides probed issues of common interest as well as the Libyan file.
