The protocol was signed with a view to promoting historical ties binding the two countries at the public and official levels, said the Agriculture Ministry in a statement on Saturday.
The ministry, meanwhile, said that the two sides are keen on promoting this cooperation, especially in the agriculture sphere, added the ministry.
An agreement was reached to exchange expertise and scientific missions between the two countries along with joint training sessions, it further said.
