
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Saturday with Malawi's Industry and Trade Minister Joseph Mwanamveka on ways of boosting the bilateral ties in all economic and trade fields.
Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Ati said that Malawi's minister voiced his happiness over taking part in the EEDC conference.
He stressed that his country was looking forward to boosting Egyptian investments in Malawi and benefiting from the Egyptian expertise.
Shoukry conveyed during the meeting President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's greetings to Malawi's president.
The minister of Malawi also stressed his country's support for nominating Egypt for a non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council.
