The Ministry of Agriculture will promote projects worth USD 21 billion at the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) to be held on Friday in Sharm el Sheikh.
In statements to MENA on Thursday Agriculture Minister Salah Helal said the projects will cover the development of field irrigation, fish farming and linking farms to the market.
He added that the project of reclaiming one million feddans will also be presented at the EEDC.
About 14 international and regional organizations have confirmed their participation in the conference, including the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Arab League.
The three-day conference aims at luring more investments after four year of political turmoil.
