Egypt urges fishermen to abide by laws of other countries

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry urged all fishermen not to sail in the territorial waters of other countries before acquiring needed licenses.
In a statement, Assistant Foreign Minister Amr Moawad said several neighboring countries have tightened security measures on territorial waters especially in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
Violating fishermen will face legal accountability in those countries and could face imprisonment, Moawad said.
