The Egyptian-Algerian joint sectoral committee wrapped up its two-day meeting on Sunday at the General Authority for Industrial Development (GAID).
The sectoral committee is assigned to implement a cooperation protocol between Egypt and Algeria, in the field of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), which was signed between Egypt's Social Fund for Development and the Algerian Ministry of Small and Medium Size Enterprises and Handicraft in March 2008.
In a statement, GAID chief Ismail Gaber said that the meeting was held as part of joint cooperation between the two countries and in implementation of recommendations of the sixth session of the Egyptian-Algerian Higher Joint Committee.
The sectoral committee's meeting gave opportunity for the Algerian side to get acquainted with Egypt's experiment in the field of managing and establishing industrial zones, he added.
