Egyptian awqaf minister lauds successful EEDC

Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa has spoken highly of the successful Egypt Economic Development Conference, which he sees as "a historic and quantum leap" forward for the Egyptian economy.
Thanks to the good governance of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the EEDC was a success, Gomaa said in statements on Sunday.
He said Egypt's fight against terrorism and the call by Sisi to revise the religious discourse has been quite a surprise to the world.
