The Egyptian Exchange signed on Wednesday a cooperation deal with the Bahraini bourse to facilitate dual listing in the two bourses and promote IT and technological infrastructure of the Bahriani bourse.
The agreement - signed on the fringe of the current visit of Bahraini King Sheikh Hamad bin Isa - will facilitate investments between the two sides.
Egyptian Exchange Chairman Mohamed Omran said the agreement marks an important step to enhance cooperation between the Egyptian bourse and other Arab bourses, especially with regard to dual listing.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Bourse, Sheikh Khalifa bin Ibrahim, said the deal will foster cooperation between the two bourses, voicing hope that the agreement would open various business opportunities among investors of both sides
