Egyptian cabinet: CBE sole entity authorized to set Egypt's monetary, currency policies

The Cabinet asserted Tuesday night that the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) was the only entity responsible for laying down monetary and currency policies in Egypt.
The CBE works independently in this regard, the Cabinet said, adding that the government has nothing to do with its job.
