
Egyptian-Ethiopian businessmen forum was inaugurated here on Sunday as part of the 5th joint Egyptian-Ethiopian Committee.
The forum was attended by Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri, Trade and Industry Minister Mounir Fakhri Abdel Nour and Ethiopian Foreign Minister Tedros Adhanom, Trade Minister Kebede Chane and other Egyptian and Ethiopian senior officials and businessmen.
Abdel Nour underlined the importance of the forum that reflects the two countries keenness on boosting bilateral relations in economic, trade and industry fields.
He reviewed the goods that Egypt can import from Ethiopia including coffee, meat, leather and grains as well as goods that Ethiopia can import from Egypt including fertilizers, drugs and electric devices.
In the meantime, Chane greeted the Egyptian delegation and stressed his country's keenness to foster bilateral ties for the best interests of the two African countries.
