
Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman has met with representatives of the Egyptian Capital Market Association (ECMA), Egyptian Investment Management Association (EIMA), Egyptian Association for Financing and Investment Studies and the Egyptian Private Equity Association (EPEA).
The minister highlighted the reforms implemented by the government to develop the money market and activate the bonds market.
He also explained the indicators of the Egyptian economy performance and the government's economic and social reform program.
There are steps to structurally reform the budget via promoting investment opportunities to the private sector, the minister said.
He added that a number of infrastructure and mega projects proposed during the Sharm el Sheikh economic conference will start soon.
He listened to views of the attendees on the need to develop the money market and benefit from improvement in the economic performance.
