
Antiquities Minister of Egypt Mamdouh el-Damaty has praised the philanthropic work of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, Sponsor of Al Maktoum Charitable Foundation in Upper Egypt including the development project for the poor families and the distribution of more than 10,000 Ramadan food packages in various governorates.
He made his remarks during his meeting with Salah al-Din Al-Ja'farawi, Advisor to the Al Maktoum Charitable Foundation, and an expert of Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISESCO). They discussed ways of joint cooperation between the Al Maktoum Foundation and the Ministry of Antiquities of Egypt.
The minister welcomed the forthcoming visit of the Al Maktoum Foundation's delegation to Egypt under the chairmanship of Mirza Hussain Al Sayegh, Member of the Board of Trustees of Al Maktoum Foundation, during which he will meet Dr. Al Damati.
The two sides also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in imparting training by the ISESCO experts and to start joint ventures in the field of restoration of monuments in collaboration with the Al Maktoum Foundation.
