Egyptian Manpower Minister Dr. Nahed El-Ashri decided to unfreeze the activities of "Al-Rashad" Company for the Recruitment of Egyptian Manpower Abroad.
This decision comes after the cause for suspension was removed as per the articles of Labor Law no. 12/2003, the minister said in a statement.
The minister said she sent a notification to the consular section of the Saudi embassy in Cairo notifying them with the end of suspension and the possibility of dealing with the company once again.
She also mentioned the standards used in assessing the ending of suspension or resuming it, which is how committed these associations to the rights of the Egyptian manpower, how serious they are in concluding contracts, and finally how far they abide by the law to protect the workers' rights.
