Egyptian new agriculture minister vows to continue reclamation projects

The Newly-appointed Minister of Agriculture Salah Eddin Helal on Thursday stressed commitment to continue the planned mega reclamation projects.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting with his predecessor Adel el Beltagy, Helal said that measures would be taken to continue implementation of a one million-feddan reclamation project.
According to directives by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, efforts are made at steady pace to reach the planned agricultural development strategy until 2030, the minister added.
