
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Wednesday headed a meeting at the cabinet headquarters to follow up the work progress of road network, currently executed nationwide.
The meeting was attended by Minister of transportation Hany Dahy and officials of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges as well as representatives of the executing companies.
During the meeting, Mahlab get briefed on the status of the under-construction roads and ways to overcome the obstacles hindering the implementation of the project.
The national project targets carrying out 13 roads, to be provided by 16 construction companies.
The premiere stressed the importance of abiding by safety and security standards while executing the roads, pointing out that any low-quality road would not be accepted.
