
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held a meeting Tuesday with chairman and representatives of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers Of Commerce in the presence of the ministers of supply and industry.
The meeting took up several FECC proposals to support the economic development steps the government has taken and challenges facing the economy.
The premier underlined that foreign currency has to be provided to purchase basic and food commodities to fulfill the needs of citizens and the production of different industries.
The government is committed to all measures contributing to controlling the market under the free market system, he said.
He pointed out to the important role of the private sector as a partner to the country in achieving sustainable development in all domains.
