
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Sunday inspected Al Tor city, visited the fishing harbor and discussed means of developing it at a cost of 45 millions.
Mahlab ordered conducting a study to develop the fishing harbor of Tor Sinai within two weeks to offer new services. The study will be conducted in accordance with a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Industry.
He said the visit aims at upgrading fishing production in the coming phase.
A mega project to establish fisheries within the context of the New Canal project will soon be launched, he added.
Mahlab also revealed that new legislations are being drafted to toughen sanctions against the elements involved in attacking any state facilities and carrying out terror acts.
