The second meeting of the Egyptian-Saudi coordination council tackled in its meeting in Cairo a number of projects which will be financed by the recently-announced Saudi financial support to Egypt, said Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
In statements after a Cabinet meeting, Ismail said the Saudi 30 billion riyal investments will be pumped in the fields of housing, energy, transport and tourism.
He praised the statements made by Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz and Deputy Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman on supporting Egypt financially during the coming five years.
The prime minister said the Cabinet probed the government program before referring it to the coming session of parliament.
