Kamel's remark came during a press conference held Saturday in the Suez Canal Authority in the presence of Head of the Authority Mohab Memish.
The businessman said that a billion and a half pounds were collected when subscription was opened on Friday, adding that three billions will be collected during the coming eight days.
He further underlined the importance of carrying out a revolution in laws to facilitate the Arab and foreign investments in Egypt, adding that the corruption and current laws hinder development.
The message of Islam is achieving prosperity on earth, Kamel said, adding that the Egyptians kept the moderate aspect of Islam and protected it from those who try to tarnish it.
