
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Sunday chaired a cabinet meeting over the development of Halayib and Shalateen, Abu Ramad and Berenice regions in the governorate of Red Sea.
Present at the meeting were the Minister of Communications, Red Sea Governor and a number of concerned authorities.
Mahlab stressed the need for completing all development projects in these areas in order to provide further job opportunities for young people and a decent life for the peoplethere.
For his part, the Red Sea governor presented a comprehensive development plan in these areas in a number of service sectors.
Egypt is currently working on generating urban communities outside Egypt’s Delta and Nile cities, namely Al-Alamein, Halayeb and Shalateen, as well as cities surrounding the Suez Canal.
