Egypt's PM discusses current situation in petroleum

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab held a meeting on Thursday with the ministers of petroleum and electricity and a number of officials to follow up the current situation in the power sectors.
During the meeting, the prime minister ordered to supply the power stations with fuel and follow up the external contracts of importing fuel to fulfill the needs of the stations, Cabinet spokesman Hossam Qawish said.
Mahlab stressed the importance of public awareness about rationalizing the consumption of electricity in homes.
He also ordered to prepare a daily report on the situation in the petroleum and electricity sectors.
