Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has called upon all Egyptian workers to do their best to achieve the goals of the country.
The premier made the statement during Sunday's meeting with Minister of Manpower and Immigration Nahed El-Ashri and Head of the Egyptian Trade Union Federation Maraghi El-Gebaly.
Mahlab asked Ashri to hold an expanded meeting with workers in charge of establishing the state-owned great projects.
He also urged Gebaly to solve the problems facing the Workers' University in Cairo.
"We have great challenges and we should exert more efforts to overcome them," Mahlab said.
He also lauded the efforts exerted by Egypt's workers.
Mahlab, meanwhile, vowed to punish the remiss workers.
