
Egyptian Supply Minister Khaled Hanafy arrived here on Wednesday to inaugurate the Egyptian products and industries' fair that runs for 10 days as of Thursday.
During the visit, Hanafy will discuss with Kurdish Industry and Trade Minister Samal Sardar ways of boosting trade cooperation between Egypt and Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Egyptian Consul in Erbil Omar Fahmi said in statements to MENA correspondent in Baghdad.
The Egyptian minister will meet later with Head of Foreign Relations Department of the Regional Government of Kurdistan (Iraq) Falah Mustafa, Kurdish Tourism Minister Samir Abdullah, Erbil governor and Kurdish investment minister, Fahmi added.
Hanafy and Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq's Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Qubad Talabani will open the fair on Thursday with the participation of a raft of Kurdish ministers and officials.
