The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has distributed thousands of food parcels, hygiene kits, and clothes to displaced Palestinians taking shelter at UNRWA's schools in Gaza after the indiscriminate bombardment targeted their houses.
Emad Abu Laban, Director of the ERC Office in the Gaza Strip, said 15000 aid parcels and 100 gallons of drinking water were distributed to Gazans on Saturday and Sunday at schools run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
ERC's latest effort is part of its continuous intensive relief operation aimed at helping people in dire humanitarian conditions due to the ongoing attack on Gaza Strip.
Abu Laban added that the humanitarian needs of Gazans are huge because of the current crisis and ERC continues to do its best to cater for their needs and ease their suffering.
